I actually have 2 questions I am going to pick up a 50 hitachi tommorow Its not working after a lightning stike what would be the main areas to look for to try to fix it. And, number 2 if I cant get it working even though its a little bigger screen that the 46 inch I have now can I trim the screen down to replace mine its a little scratched.

Woo, start with a model # first. I can't tell you how any "after the storm" I've listen too. Some of this is normal wear and tear.
