Minnie,

My TV has the exact same symptoms as stated in the previous posts. I have replaced e994 and c707 per instructions (twice), but it still does the same thing. Can you tell me where I should look next? Thanks

Ben

On a further note, I tested e994, e995, and e996 and they all came up with 0.00 on my ohm meter. I seem to remember that a Zero reading on pico fuses meant that the fuse was good. I am not sure what c707 should test at. Any thoughts? Thanks

Ben

My 60" Hitachi model 60SX10B has no picture or sound. My wife said prior to this, the TV would cut off while she was watching it, but she could push the "on" button and it would come back on. Now nothing. I took off the back access panel and when I turn the TV on, I hear a click, and only a red light on the board is on, no green lights come on at all. There are four green lights that are not on, only the red. Any ideas?

Does c707 have a hole in it or a black mark?

My board must be different. On mine, 707 is a small diode. It is not the blue round looking thing.

This one kicked my a@@. Try and resolder the vertical IC it's a LA7838. It's labeled I601. You may have to replace it.
