Philips TS2744 shuts off

I have a Philips Magnavox TS2744 C123, chassis 27B800-7562. When I turn it on the green LED comes on and then the TV immediately shuts off. I don't see any singed components on the main board or the CRT board. Perhaps a voltage regulator or rectifier? Any ideas?

Did You ever get an answer or figure out what the problem is I have the same problem with mine. It will come on and go back off sometime it will stay on long enough for the picture to come in then go off.

Sounds like a power supply problem or HV shutdown. The shutdown circuit may have a defective diode or transistor making it shut down on its own.

Just read another forum - R3340 - swap it out for a 1/2W 10 ohm resistor - take that 1/3rd ohm out.
