Sorry, I wasn't very clear. The intermittent video seems to be with the video inputs. My cable company had disconnected the feed to the house while rewiring and I could not check tuner input until this afternoon. So the problem persists with the signal from the AV.

| Hit the menu button on the remote if you loose the picture, it will lead you towards a signal problem or set problem. If you loose picture and press menu and it comes up its not the set. |

|

Minnie,
Tried pressing the menu button while the set was on tuner and picture stayed in background. Tried it while on the video input and still get a menu, with the black screen. Audio seems to be coming throught from DVD player without any issues. Just getting black video screen. Double checked cable to make sure that all cables hooked to correct location on both ends. Seems like something must have gone after replacing the two bad components. Is the red light supposed to remain lit after the repair? Can't see any other LED's that are blinking or going out after powering up and the Video feed side was working prior to the bad cap and fuse.
Thank you again for your input and help.

| Sounds like a source issue. If menu comes up the set is working... |

| I have the issue with a set that turn on, and shuts right back off. The red protect LED flashed and originally, the 120V LED did not illuminate. I replaced E994 (it was open), and C707. Now the symptoms are the same, but the 120V LED does light up. Any suggestions? |

Thanks, do you happen to have the part numbers? Should I replace the resistors for these IC's also? Thanks! |
