APEX TV - no sound no picture - high pitch noise

Apex 32" . When I turn it on, I hear a high pitch noise from inside the TV. It starts to chirp in small intervals, then quickly becomes a single continuous tone. No video signal or sound from the speakers. Any help is appreciated.

you have a line op stage problem-remove the line op transistor and check it for sc-with the transistor removed load the power supply ht capacitor with a 40w lamp and switch on-check the ht is correct .
if so your power supply is ok,if your line op transistor is faulty a new one may get you working .Check all soldered joints in the line op stage
