Hi: I have accidently turned on my VChip and can't turn it off. Get big black box in the middle of the screen. I have lost my manual. Can you tell me how to turn it off? Can't get rid of the black block. I would appreciate your help JVC TV. We have no children here, so don't want to use the VChip. Thank you. Jonde44

"Black box" in the middle of the screen has nothing to do with V-Chip . Somehow you have activated what is called "Closed Caption".
Should be able to deactivate it thru remote, however ........might get a better answer if you provide a MODEL number rather than a "JVC TV" Rolling Eyes
