akai vs-f260 vcr child lock

Please,can you help me.
I have an old akai vs-f260 vcr that my young son plays his tapes on and has been running fine for years until now.
The machine has locked (child lock?) and I can't find the manual to unlock it.
Would it be possible for someone to email me the unlock code?
My son and myself would be very appreciated if you could help
