I have a super Trinitron CTV approx 8 years old which refuses to switch on. The red LED on the front console is flashing on & off and when you press the power button, the TV switches on briefly (1- 2 seconds) before dying. Any Ideas???

| the model number and number of flashes will help someone point you in the right direction. not enough info to help at moment. |
