need help with portable dvd player

I have a 7" audiovox portable dvd player and its having a problem.
When i try to use it to watch dvds, it just spins it around a few times and say that theres no disk. When i put a normal music cd,it plays fine. Can someone tell me whats wrong or how to fix this problem?

It's no garranty, but probably the only thing you can do is clean the laser unit with a cue-tip, dipped in alcohol.
