Sorry the capacitor location is in the power supply (mixed with a sharp model).

Thanks for your valuable advice which should keep my VCR up and running while I archieve my VHS tapes of family events to DVD using my Sony 710 Christmas box.

Snap! My wife also bought me a Sony DVD recorder for transfering tapes from video and camcorder. I have been doing this for a couple of days now and didn't realise I had so many.
