Can anyone help TV when swiched on appears to go on to stanby.
Remote works but tv will not swich on.Any suggestions appreciated.

Excuse me for my bad english.....
a lot of time ago in a philips chassis DIII (digital 3), still in stand by and eeprom memory contains bad data!!! Digital audio Nicam was activated so processor ask data from these card, and without answer to that card STILL STD BY!
NO DAMAGE TO ANY PART OF TV...I ONLY REPROGRAM MEMORY AND TV WORK NORMALLY....

For other damage it' very difficult explayn what you have to do, too many components are interessed...
