jvc rx 558v reciever. one side of audio out is dead. bought at garage sale. Have removed speaker jack field and have isolated the field and pcb from all other circuits. continuity check shows that red and black outlets are shorted in the traces (by design) of the pcb. how can this be? any ideas on this? |

? exactly what jack are you talking about? You may be looking at it incorrectly. Why would you want to short out the outputs by trace design?
