The memory backup system of the Harman Kardon AVR 45 receiver doesn't work.
How to repair? |

I'm in the same situation, except my receiver is an AVR65. Can anybody help me with this? |

Need to replace the "backup" capacitor that keeps enough of a dc charge to back up the tuning data. It is usually rated at .047 to 1 milifarad(not micro) & located close to the processor & or display Ic---very common failure among all brands of receivers & a great gravy repair  |
