This TV has a bad control board. The board is labeled E3761-058010-6 with a paper sticker of 771EL37AE02-01. This matches the service manual for the model. The service manual is uploaded to this site.

I can find replacement boards with the E3761-05810-6 but few if any have the paper sticker to match the 771 number and I am told these boards come from different model TVs, mostly 32 and 27 inch models. Other service manual do list a different 771number making me think that the board must be programmed for the specific model.

Has anyone had any experience repairing the AKAI (also know as ILO and Scott) using substitute boards such as described above. This is a first for me and I really would like to get this thing out of here. Thanks for any information.
