Goodmans 28" screen TV

Hi guys

I have a 28" Goodmans TV, had a while now. Recently,thin white lines have appeared going across the top half of the screen.

I suspect to be caused by a dodgy capacitor?

How do i diagnose, what is casuing this?

Maybe the tubes going bust

Hi,

Not familar with your TV set but I suspect faulty (drying up) capacitor at vert IC. Not likely to be CRT problem.

i'd change all elect capacitors near this IC. Hope it helps.
