lcd replacement parts???

can anyone tell me where to find replacement parts for lcd tv/monitors.
i can find screens and backlights but nothing else. what happens if you need to replace the main board???

In general it is cost prohibitive to replace a LCD panel or even main board & that is exactly why it is not something easily found everywhere. There is always exceptions mainly on a few bigger sets. Though, As a rule of thumb nowadays , LCD replacements cost about the same as a new set--- if not more
