Hi all,
I have the above TV which does not do very much at all. When switched on there is no sound or picture (unless A1 is adjusted when the screen turns green and scan lines appear).
I would welome any ideas of where to start with this.
I have schematics and cct diagram for the same chassis (EB6-A28), but the actual circuit board is a little different.
Any advice welcomed
Thanks,
Mark |

I've looked into this a little further. All of the DC rails seem to be OK so I will do some more digging, but I really hope that this is not a problem with the processor side of things |

Right, a little more info. I connected my daughters gamecube to the scart and although there is no picture, there is at least sound
So, it looks like the output driver stage to the CRT may be at fault.
Any idea on how to test this?
Cheers,

"problem" is the basis to everything we know about this subject. _________________ Hostels Chicago |

When you tested all of the dc rails, are you sure they did not have excessive noise or ripple on them? Is the B+ within spec? |

hey i have the same television and i was just wondering what you have your picture settings set at as the way i have it just now the picture seems to be extreamly green in dark scenes. (settings like BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, SHARPNESS, COLOUR etc.) |
