Good morning guys.
I have one dvd player samsung model ht120 wich is stuck in stand by. When i switch it on appear one message on the display "protection" and go to stand by again.
Somebody can help me?

Hi..normally protection cause by short circuit at low voltage power supply..pls locate 2 voltage regulator IC =====> 5V & 12V and check with multimeter..Normally ragulator have 3 pin...Pin 1 is input voltage..Pin 2 is ground..and Pin 3 is output voltage..check with multimeter ohm 1k===>Pin 1 & 2, Pin 2 & 3...If short that mean ragulator need to replaced..Good Luck.. |
