Our tv has a flashing LED which the operators manual states is an indication that the power protection function is in operation, and appears to be indicative of a power surge however....
Other equipment dvd/amp etc which share the same power supply are ok. I'm reluctant to scrap this set which is only 18mths old . This site appears not to have a manual and I think it may be the case ( from web searches) that a capacitor replacement will solve the problem.

Can anyone help with a part no or more general advice as to how we can get our set working again.
