After a lightening storm my mother's tv will come on, has sound, but only 1 picture (not completely clear) and stays the same picture regardless of what channel you try & put it on. We're trying to figure out if the tv is worth repairing. Also, could someone with a computer background repair this tv to keep costs down?

Hi,
Try to change the channel Kit on mainboard. this kit is directly connected to Tv Antenna Laughing Wink

More than likely the tuner &/or RF switcher is damaged. All you can do is to try auto programming the channels & if still the same, need to call an experienced tech.
