What could be the cause / causes of a picture fading to a white screen about 10 minutes after a TV is switched on? The fading begins with 'retrace lines' being seen and then a loss of picture.
If the sound is muted immediately on TV switch on, then the picture remains stable. The TV has a NICAM stereo sound.
