Grand Wega Problem!

Hello, this is my first post. I have a 50 inch Sony KDF-50WE655 LCD TV, and it only turns on for about 3 seconds, then shuts off, and the red light blinks approx. 4 times, over and over. I tried replacing the bulb to no avail (I have a spare, as my roomates have the same TV). This problem has occured prior, but I emailed Sony and they instructed me to unplug the set, then plug it back in and it worked. Now the same problem, but nothing works. Someone else had mentioned that it could be overheating or a problem with the fan. Well, I checked it out, and the fan isn't even getting any power, it doesn't come on at all. I guess that's why the tv shuts off so quickly. But is there a simple way to fix this problem? Maybe a fuse I just have to replace?
