ViewSonic E790 Brightness

Even with brightness and contrast all the way up, my E790B is very dark. Is there an internal control to boost overall brightness?

HELLO, If this is a tv system with a flyback yes. Located on the flyback transformer is a pot called the screen control , this (when insreased) will bring higher voltage to the screen grid increasing brightness. However in alot of cases the G1 or G2 circuits may be to blame for the loss of picture. These systems need to be looked at as sometimes caps or resistor will increase in value and shunt voltage to the CRT. OZ
