The CD-ROM drive on my ThinkPad T21 is installed as a removable device. After I boot-up and use my computer for a while, the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon is gone from the icon bar, and the drive disappears from system (i.e. I can no longer see it in the drive list in the "My Computer" explorer window. Is there any way to install it as a permanent device? What can I do? |
