| hi gary thanks for your help in this matter, just so you know finally had the parts come today (irf615) and it has curred it. thanks for your time, p.s you dont know anything about a vestel, i think it is 11ak45 which is ok in 16:9 ratio but has east west and to much height in 4:3??? its a 28" widescreen badged as hitachi. cheers, jon |

| 11ak45 suffer a lot from eeprom corruption, you may find adjusting the geometry in the service mode will cure the problem, the manual can be downloaded from this site |
