using 6ohm speaker on a 8ohm amp

Hi,

Ihave a 8ohm amplifier and was wondering if i can use 6ohm speakers on it, or will it blow the amp?

No problem unless you drive it wide open for a long time. What power level are you talking about?

The amp is about 55-60 watts rms per channel, and the speakers are 100 watt each, but i only have it on at about a quarter if i want it loud i use headphones.
