Sony KP53S15 problem

Hello :
I have a Sony KP-53S15 rear projection TV that is about 10 yars old. Recently the picture started to shift to primarily blue and green. It doesn't do it all of the time. It also doesn't stay that way all of the time. Most of the time it returns to normal - eventually. I haven't completed the problem determination on this to determine if it happens when the set is cold/hot, how frequently the problem occurs, and how long it remains in blue/green mode before returning to normal. I suspect it's a problem with the red bulb/lens. Can I still get this part? Can I replace it myself?

Check your STK IC'S for cold solder joints.

REPLACE IC1601/IC1602 STK392-010's with STK392-040's.
