This DVD may play OK for 15 to 20 mins then the picture freezes and then may start playing again or completely freezes and goes back to the start of the disc, showing C13:00 on the screen & the DVD display. Does anyone know if there is a jitter or laser check and how to access it, or any other info. Thanks

C13:00 is an error message for a dirty disc. Search on here for the service manual. I found one here for a DVPS-400D, which shows how to access the setup menus, for alignment checks and such.
