camcorder help

i need help i own a canon zr 200 one day it just wont boot up i did nothing wrong it just stopped working(blown fuse) i own a multi meter can i check fuses with that? and how? i also own a jvc gr-d20 now the lens cap error is on this i dont think its a ccd i think its a motor not opening the view finder how do i check that after i open it up thank you [email protected]
