sony kdsr60xbr1 symbol on screen all times

Any help with this problem. On the upper left corner in gray is video 6 from tv input. This symbol stays onall the time. I left tv off for over 24 hours and when I turned it on is still there . Any one else experienced this or no how to fix? Or is it time to call service call? Thanks

Hit the display button on you remote to remove it.

I do feel stupid for sure. I tried everything I could think of through the menu and other buttobs---display--duh no. Thanks again.
