Can anyone recommend a source or any websites / forums for obtaining schmatics diagrams information on how to repair these boards ? I have several boards that I would like to fix.

I carry thinkpad service manuals but the type of information you want is not included in them. There is no place that I know of to get this kind of detail except from the manufacturer of the boards themselves.
