Here is the problem , I have a Toshiba 53H71 there was a blinking red light and it would not turn on i replaced the IC's the TV set turned on and was working fine. After about an hour same problem , i noticed the 851 was blown replaced it , than 850 blew. I replaced both of them now the tv set will go but there will be no picture. There is no more red blinking light problem the menu does not come back nothing , the lamps do not go on? what could be the problem thanks. |

Did you check R7731/7726 1.8 ohm, R7711/7716 1.8 ohm, did you solder the 2 jumpers between the signal board to the deflection board located on the deflection board bottom side left side of the board just above the middle, jumpers at loacation 010 and 050? Last but not least, did you buy good IC's or cheap IC'? |

I did all this , i checked R7731 R7726 , R7711 , R7716 (giving 2.0ohms) and the i resoldered the 2 jumpers in 010 , 050. The IC's i bought were good IC's (maybe they went again? , but wouldn't be this causing red blinking light). The problem is still the same steady red light (lamps do not go on) , any other suggestions? the result is still the same |

If it worked fine then crapped out again you got bad IC's. Start over and if you get it, send the IC's back and tell them you want a refund and that they should quit selling counterfeit IC's. |

Hey , yes maybe i should buy better quality IC's do you know a place that sell those IC's that are good quality. And also very important last question? if the IC's were bad wouldn't it blow the fuses? or cause red blinking light problem? or could it be steady red also even if IC's are bad? (any good place with good IC's??) |
