VXX2653 is not a sony part number--it is pioneer.
As far as the "springs", they are rather critical which will affect the laser azimuth adjustment---(may not notice it on new discs but can have trouble with older/scratch disc) however you do NOT have to remove them and best not too. Instead, remove the motor which is held in the assembly with three tiny screws. It is-not-necessary to remove the assembly (thereby causing springs to pop out). I have done very many of VXX.. assemblies. |
