Since I'm posting this while away from home I don't have the model number but TV is about 5yrs old. My son pulled the plug while the set was turned on and now it will not power up. It seems to be completely dead -- no sounds at all while trying to turn it on. |

The most obvious answer is a blown fuse. If it isn't a blown fuse, it is probably a defective semiconductor device in the startup power supply. Only a qualified tech with the proper test equipment can say for sure. Meanwhile, you might want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/?r=10948674 for an opportunity to earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part. |
