Might be an idea to only allow users who post be registered members and if they post spam just delete all posts by them and ban in one go as it seems to be an epidemic lately and now also using tactics of replying to posts with spam more often and is probably the same person using other names.
Or report the spammer to their isp and have the internet connection terminated for abuse.

Another thing you could do if the spammer is registered is display the email address (OOPS!) so we can all pm him and ensure he gets his fair share of spam in return as signing him up to various sites for spam. |

I replied to a guest and pasted a link while not logged in and a message was displayed saying that it was possible spam and blacklisted. WELL DONE!
This is a good improvement in the fight against spam.
I simply logged in and pasted the link and all was well.
Best Regards and keep up the good work. _________________ If in doubt pull the plug out. |

Was it posted under 'Guest' or was there a name? Where was it? Only reason post's get deleted are spam/untargeted advertising or posting in the wrong section. |
