My sony cmt-cpx22, which I've had for 18 months, turns on but goes off after 4 or 5 secs and the power light begins flashing. I've checked the usual, ventilation etc but can't remedy it. Any suggestions would be most helpful.

replace q906 on main pcb with 2sc2001, original transistor is smd and not up to the job, 2sc2001 is a lead device. done a few with no comebacks.

I have the same problem with my cpx22. How to know where is base, emitter and collector on that q906 smd transistor. What is q906 transistor?
