NTSC and my DVD player

Hi,

All of a sudden my Philips DVD player will not play NTSC DVD's... it tells me that the disk is not found. Anyone else have this problem? Im hopeing that someone knows a trick or something to get around that so I dont have to buy a new DVD player. The DVD menu is set to auto for PAL and NTSC, even if i put it on just NTSC it still cant find the disc?Anyone run into this b4?

Any help will be apprecited.
