Akai Picture but no sound Returns after switch off/on.

Hi, my Akai (ws-p28-ntf-sf-d-gb) 28 inch tv keeps losing the picture, goes to pink for half a second then goes black. The sound is Ok.
Sometimes it is fine for hours, other times it goes off within a few minutes of switching it on. Switching the TV off then switching it back on brings back the picture. Till next time!
Any ideas?
