|
|
I recently aquired a Xerox 5260 copier. It was not warming up and making a horrible clicking noise while trying. I determined that the gear second in line from the motor was half stripped. Last night I replaced that gear and now it warms up but when attempting to feed a sheet of paper in it gives me a code 7. I understand this means there is a problem with the platen drive. Anyone else run into this and have any suggestions. I am not even sure where to start looking for a problem at this point. |
