This TV is 14 years old and has a bright red line that runs horizontally across the center of the screen. Above the line, I have normal color; below the line there is no red. Any thoughts are appreciated

it could be the vertical out or ckt of the red crt

check the supply, capacitors and vertical out ic of the red crt.
