Philips A10E slow down

Does anybody know what is the problem of an Philips A10E chassis TV, when it operates, but very slowly executes commands from rem. control. For example: program change takes for about a minute. Sound interrupted in about 20 sec. period. Sometimes work in order, but only for a short period (5...10 mins.).
I cleared error memory (there was 3 types different error in it), and after it is clear too- can not detect error.
Somebody advised me to change 24C32 eeprom, but in this forum I only read only micro controller defects for this model.

replace the painter ic with updated version, not a good idea to attempt unless youu are confident with surface mount flat pack ics.

that fault is a classic painter ic problem, i would not even hesitate blaming it for that combination of faults, as to cost in the uk it is £39+vat
