HP officejet pro 1150c bit fell out

I have no service manual and cannot seem to locate one. But when giving the divice a good clean and lifting out the roller section a part described as a bent wire with a rectangular piece of black plastic attached dropped. It came from the lefthand end. probably holding down another plastic moulding which runs in a groove on the roller assemby past the gearing. I donot know where to fit it back. Also does it matter where the mechanism is parked in the now clean inkjet cleaning dock.
