Hey guys I have one of those fairly old 40" Mitsubishi televisions. Sound works great. But screen went blank a while back. Just completely black. Took off back of t.v. and did some looking. It appears the little bulb (i am assuming this is the picture tube) may have burnt out. Can this be replaced and if so where could i do this? Or is it not worth it? Can't really afford new t.v. right now. Any ideas? Model #CS 40707 Thanks so much!!

Hi,

How did u find out its the tube problem? Do u see the back of the tube light up when u on the set? U may need to look at it in a dark room.

Usually it's not worth repairing if the job requires a tube replacement.
