standby/timer light

the standby/timer light stays on my sony big screen. the tv wont turn on.how do i fix it?

Can you check if the power supply is working correctly?

E.g. do you have +B on the HOT transitor?

Mine is doing the same thing! It got some moisture in the back from a spill (didn't go inside I think) and it stopped working. I unplugged it and let it dry out and now when it cuts on it just flashes on standby. Very annoying.

my sony database is over 50gb, but without knowing the model number it is useless!!!!!!!!! post the model number maybe someone can help.
