Car DVD player mystery

Hi All,
I bought a van with a Visteon SD 8010 DVD player feeding 2 headrest screens. The screens, player and a control module feed into a black box labelled 'Visteon 4035931 DVD'. The DVD player seems to get it's power from this box, but I'll be damned if I can figure out where this box get's it's power from.

The only connections are to the screens, the wall mounted control module and the player. The control module has no other connections to it either.

Any manuals, schematics or links to where I might find them would be very welcome.
