|
|
Hi, I was wondering if someone could give me some advice. My TV has started switching itself onto standby after it's been in us for a few minutes. After it's been turned off for a few minutes (or sometimes hours) it then seems to work normally again for a while, and then the same thing happens. On occasion the picture/sound will also disappear for a few seconds before switching off.
I've heard that the Painter IC on these sets accounts for a large proportion of faults, could that be the case here? If so I believe I can get it replaced by MCES, but don't really want to send the SSB off unless I'm fairly sure that's the case..... Can anyone reassure me that this is likely to be the case?
On top of it all the 14" I'm using temporarily has now developed a fault. Aaaarggghhh!!!!
Thanks,
Kevin |
