If what you're describing is a Vertical Foldover ... Bad electrolytic in Vertical sweep circuit.

This is a common problem with this model. Now there's a new problem, which may or may not be related, but first the component/rca inputs stopped working, and now the coax input has static for sound, and the screen is black. Any thoughts on what to do?

If it's the same model check D541 to see if it's shorted, R541 1.8 ohm, see if it's open and change IC421, LA7832 and C424 10uf35v.
