Hi,

I've change C1178, C1179, C1220 to 39pF, It's easy low cost (about 0.24 €) and now my SATX-30 works great !!

same symptom : cracked, no sound

To replace front bulb, goto electronicrepair.org.uk products_id=712

suggestion : change all the bulb (x10) pack of 10 is about 10 €

Thank you very mutch to post this repair I'm very happy to continue using my technics amp !

hi all...cooling fan in my SA-TX30 make cracking noise
and is needed change it.
Can i put inside another fan, or mus be original only?
My tx30 is 15y old and i have not found on internet any original fan Sad

As long as it has the same rating and physical size, it should be fine. No need to go with the original that is more likely discontinued.

...this solve my problem for few months...but now is problem back - cracking noise and then audio output stop Sad

Hi

I just changet the C1178, C1179, C1220 to 39pF
as cerberos sugestet, a first it did not work.

after i had turned it on whitout the flad connecktor
on the board for a some minutes,, it works fine...???
dont know if it means anything

just one question
look in the servise manual C1178, C1179, C1220 is alredy 39p
why change them ???

BTW...i have changed all these capacitators + crystal + Thermal Compound + new fan.
All works fine few months and now is problem back Sad Sad Sad
Help please.

hi

Did not work for long, changen the capacitors Sad

i found a german site where someone sugestet that the cn 1103
connektor may have a craked soldering on the bord, as i understud.

on mine the firs and the last was crackt, must be the heat.
think it gets very hot..
i fixed that and now it seems to work Very Happy
