HP Laptop Battery pin functions

Hello, I urgently need some help in the pin configuration and their functions for an HP Laptop battery. The battery part number is: 395751-001, with rating of 10.8V, 4.0AHr, Li-ion. It has 6 pins and i need to know how to use voltage from this battery for some other purpose. I am not getting any voltage across any pin, but my laptop is working fine with the same battery. Could anyone please help me on how to configure (hardwire) the battery pins to use the battery externally as a power supply.
