|
|
Hi,
I have a Panasonic TV, model CTK-25805. When first turned on, the screen will be white and then soon will flicker and become just a single horizontal white line across the middle of the screen. I'm told this is called "vertical collapse," but I don't claim to be an expert on these things.
For awhile, if we left the TV warm up, the picture would return. Sometimes this took hours. But now, no matter how long we wait, the picture never is restored.
Is there any hope for fixing this? I welcome any and all ideas. |

| Before you replace the Vertical IC, check all the Electrolytic capacitors in the vertical deflection circuit first. Remember to take all precautions to avoid electrical shock. |
